Na \u00e9poca de nidifica\u00e7\u00e3o, podemos at\u00e9 ver os filhotes de pelicanos nos ninhos. Aventure-se mais profundamente no parque para explorar grutas como a <em><strong>Gruta de areia<\/strong><\/em> e <strong><em>Cueva de la L\u00ednea.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As grutas da reserva eram utilizadas como abrigo pelos \u00edndios Taino e, mais tarde, para esconder piratas. Procure os desenhos dos \u00edndios que decoram algumas das paredes.<\/p>\n<p>Depois de visitar o Parque Nacional Los Haitises, iremos para Cano Hondo. Em Cano Hondo conheceremos a hist\u00f3ria deste ecolodge e almo\u00e7aremos com a comida t\u00edpica da comunidade de Sabana de la mar.<\/p>\n<p>O almo\u00e7o ser\u00e1 delicioso, mas ainda n\u00e3o termin\u00e1mos. Depois do almo\u00e7o, nadaremos na nascente natural do rio Jibales, um rio perene, at\u00e9 ao rio Ca\u00f1o Hondo.
